The Government agrees to allocate more than half a million euros for the development of eGovernment.

In particular, said at a press conference the Deputy Prime Minister, Dolores Gorostiaga, the Government has authorized a contract for the provision of certification services and electronic signature for the development of eGovernment in the amount of EUR 383 389 and effect until August 2012, and a contribution of 160,000 euros to EMCANTA development of eGovernment in particular to the, aion kinah, update of data from the Survey of Local Infrastructure and Equipment (EIEL) for the year 2010, and operation of themselves.

In addition, the contribution to EMCANTA serve to develop a web portal available to local authorities and citizens all the information related to the initiatives of the Directorate General of Local Administration and included in the Plan eLocal and for deployment and maintenance of, tera gold, various hardware and software infrastructure for the provision of services, as well as technical assistance, management and coordination of the initiatives promoted by the Directorate General on that matter

Gorostiaga explained that these measures are derived from the Law on electronic access of citizens to public services, regulating the use and management of electronic certificates and digital, sto energy credits, signatures in the public administration and introduces concepts such as Public Employee Certificate, Certificate Electronica Headquarters Address Label Certificate.

To implement these actions, the government has to create a general access point through which citizens can access all the information and services available in their relations with the Administration.
